Jul 7, 2010

The Cape Town Book Fair (CTBF) has secured grants from the MAPPP-Seta and the Department of Arts and Culture which will enable small publishers to attend the fair which runs from 30 July to 2 August (the first day is a Professional Day and not open to the public).

Director of the Cape Town Book Fair Claudia Kaiser said, "We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to small publishers, the book fair this year has many innovations and we look forward to the Professional Day adding value to the CTBF for the trade."

To qualify for the grant you must be a small publisher with an annual turnover of R5 million or less. For those who live outside of Cape Town travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
